EXPANDING Nettleship
Sawyer has relocated its operations to one of Bournemouth’s
prime office buildings.
The Dorset-based firm of chartered surveyors and commercial
property consultants has taken 2,300 sq ft at Heliting House,
Richmond Hill.
The new offices add up to a 20 per cent increase in floor
space and were needed to accommodate Nettleship Sawyer’s
growing team.
Previously the firm, which celebrates its 15th anniversary
this year, was housed in 1,900 sq ft offices at Dean Park
House in nearby Dean Park Crescent, Bournemouth.
Chris Nettleship, Joint Managing Director, said: “Our
team continues to expand and we desperately needed more space”.
“Heliting House is one of the
best office buildings in the centre of Bournemouth and is
just perfect for our operations.”
The office move is the latest development in a highly successful
year for Nettleship Sawyer.
A buoyant office sector led to the firm experiencing a year-on-year
20 per cent increase in business in 2006.
Nettleship Sawyer handled transactions totalling 140,000
sq ft of office space in the 12 months compared with 70,000
sq ft in the previous year.
The trend has continued this year with a spate of major office
deals including the sale of two major buildings in Poole –
Sentinel House and adjacent site, 2 Nuffield Road - for more
than £3.4 million.
