WORK on transforming
a former army camp in rural Dorset into a thriving commercial
centre is continuing apace with Nettleship Sawyer securing
the sale of a further unit.
Knighton Countryside Management has acquired Unit 7 at Enterprise
Park, Piddlehinton, for £230,000 after the former derelict
building underwent a total refurbishment.
The sale includes the 1,100 sq ft unit as well as land covering
approximately two thirds of an acre.
Knighton Countryside Management was founded in 1989 and has
become a leading woodland, environmental and parkland contracting
company.
Nettleship Sawyer successfully disposed of nearly 14 acres
of land at the former Piddlehinton army camp in 2006.
The £1 million deal, involving an unnamed Dorset company,
included 17 industrial units.
Since then several have been sold with a further nine refurbished
units, each around 1,100 sq ft, due to be released shortly
together with three office buildings and land.
