  Three prime retail units Sold or Let by Nettleship Sawyer

THREE prime retail units in Bournemouth and Ferndown have been sold or let by Nettleship Sawyer.

According to Steve Chiari, a director with the Bournemouth-based firm, the deals demonstrate the “continuing buoyancy” of the secondary retail market.

The units include:

Former bank premises at 1084/1086 Christchurch Road, Boscombe East, which have been sold for £225,000. The site occupies a prominent corner location and comprises 1,764 sq ft of office/shop space with car parking. It has been sold on a 125 year lease from 2004.
A 537 sq ft retail unit at 37/39 Victoria Road, Ferndown which includes a three bed maisionette on the first floor. It has been let to Ray Cable Estate Agents for a figure close to the asking rent of £19,750 per annum exclusive. Planning consent for a change of use has been obtained.
The neighbouring 573 sq ft retail unit at 41 Victoria Road, Ferndown, which has been let on a rent of £15,000 per annum exclusive to a local woman who is expected to use it for a hair/beauty business.
