NETTLESHIP Sawyer has successfully let a prominent corner site in Wallisdown, Bournemouth, to Subway, the global sandwich chain.
Subway has taken a 15-year lease at a commencing rent of £33,000 per annum on the 1,770 sq ft showroom at 300 Wallisdown Road.
The property, which includes a first-floor four-bedroom flat, comes with parking for up to six vehicles. It was formerly occupied by a motorcycle business.
The Subway chain was founded by Fred DeLuca in Connecticut, USA, in 1965. The company has since grown into a multi-billion pound business, with 30,617 outlets in 88 countries.
Subway has 1,376 outlets in the UK and Ireland and plans
to increase this number to more than 2,010 by 2010.
Acting on behalf of Subway, Nettleship Sawyer has also sub-let 298 Wallisdown
Road, Bournemouth, for an annual rent of £10,000.

sq ft retail unit has parking for one vehicle and is to be
used for a philately business.
